Game Review

Collingwood were the form side of the competition as the Sectional rounds and finals loomed – indeed, the Magpies would go to claim the 1902 flag. Still, Carlton welcomed this contest at Princes Park, even if the result might have been foreseen.

Sure enough, the Blues were given a reality check by the Magpies, who dominated from the first bounce, and restricted the home side to a paltry total of 15 points for the game, leaving Carlton in 6th spot on the ladder with a percentage of 75.7.
