Game Review
The Blues bounced back and comfortably beat the Bloods to further strengthen their position on the top of the ladder. However, in one of the bigger stories of the day, Charlie Canet, one of the Blues' better players this day, injured his knee during the third quarter. The twenty-six year old later returned to the field, but Charlie was clearly hampered by the injury. This was his last VFL game. In an odd by-line to the game, two 'CC's in Clarrie Clowe and Charlie Canet each played their last games for the Blues.
At the end of this round Carlton were in 1st spot on the ladder with a percentage of 144.1.
