Carlton added a single Rookie in the 2024 Rookie Draft, welcoming young GWV player Harry Charleson to our ranks.
Pick 9: Harry Charleson
Note: Jordan Boyd was promoted off the Rookie List for 2025. Note also that Matt Carroll was delisted after an injury hit 2024 but was re-rookied via the SPP in February 2025, after a very long pre-season without a list spot!
Francis Evans originally signed on for Carlton's VFL team but impressed during pre-season training and managed to grab a rookie spot via the SPP.
And the last, very late - in fact post cut-off - change came when Will White was able to be rookied to the list given the terrible ACL injury to top draft pick Jagga Smith. So that made 3 SPP selections for the 1 year, but only 1 rookie draft selection - very unusual indeed!
