J. Muir is named in the Second Twenty squad that played Carlton Zingari in Royal Park.

1883 Prior to the commencement of the new season, The Argus Saturday 7th April reports that at the Carlton football Club general meeting last night, a medal was presented to an I. Muir of the Second Twenty. (a printers error?)
