Game Review

Revisit Rounds 01
This game was noteworthy for the fact that two key Blues in Len Morrison and Pat Considine, due to join their team-mates at North Melbourne station, watched helplessly as the train sailed past without any sign of slowing down!

Even so, Carlton matched the strong Pivotonian line-up early, before being smashed in the second quarter. An even second half followed, but the Blues never really threatened an upset.

Still, a return of five goals was the best thus far in a very low-scoring season for the Princes Park push.

At the end of this round Carlton were in 7th spot on the ladder with a percentage of 45.2.
