Forge 'Frank' Mercuri played U/19's football for Carlton from 1968 to 1969, he also played reserve grade football in 1969.
Mercuri was recruited from Princes Hill.
He did not manage a Senior game for Carlton.
In 2011 the MacLeod Football Club (formerly MacLeod-Rossana) was planning the 40th anniversary luncheon on July 23 of it's one and only premiership. The Leader (July 11) published the story with an appeal to a number of players whom the club had lost contact with. One of those players was a Forge Mercuri, ex Preston.
